Way Wear/Radical Recovery Wear Fundraising

What a summer it's been!! We've been all over, sharing the Good News and enjoying meeting many new faces. But with fall here, it's time to redirect our emphasis and start doing some fundraising for you! We'll be at the Recovery Walk celebrating National Recovery Month at Lakes Park on Sept.26th from 8am till noon. Olga, Florida will be the site of a free health fair coming up Sat. Sept. 19th at Grace Church. Summit Christian School, St. Michael's, and Pilgrim Church are all in the queue, and we can't wait to see all of you! PUT US TO WORK FOR YOU!!

Christian Tees in Maggie Valley

Have you ever seen a prettier place to sell tee shirts?? Neither have we! We went to Maggie Valley NC to raise funds for the Outdoor Mission Camp and got to hear the legendary Dr. Ralph Stanley and the Clinch Mountain Boys pickin' and singin' bluegrass music. The weekend was filled with food made by church ladies, mountain crafts, and friendly people. We even had "bluegrass church" put on by the Christian Bluegrass Association. Recovery Tee Victory

We had to share this! We were at a show recently and were beside a guy selling his own brand of tees for those still out on safari. Oh, I remember those days- I'd have done just about anything for a drink near the end........ Thankfully God had other plans for my life! I am so grateful to be sober and free.

Youth Conference at First Assembly

Today the entire staff was motivated and inspired by the youth ministries conference at First Assembly. Thanks to Linda Bowling for the invite, Donna W, and all the helpers we had at our tables. Over two hundred dedicated people gathered to rock the rafters at for the Why.?! Conference- which is now on our not-to-be-missed list!
